Turnover of SIA “Banga Ltd” shows 31% increase in 9 months of 2025
Sales of SIA “Banga Ltd” – a Latvian producer of canned seafood – have reached EUR 14.24 million in the first 9 months of 2025, which represents a 31% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
“We are very pleased with the financial performance in Q3 2025, continuing the growth since the beginning of the year. While keeping the demand stable, ensuring timely planning and organisation of our deliveries, we have been able to operate more efficiently than the years before in the 3rd quarter and in the shoulder season – during the vacation season of the production staff when maintenance and repairs on the company’s production equipment is performed. Despite the challenges concerning both the raw material costs and the production and delivery process towards the end of the year, we are confident that the expected results for 2025 will be met successfully”, says Mr Raivis Veckāgans, Sales Director.
SIA “Banga Ltd” is the leading producer of sterilised canned fish in the Baltic region. The company’s production facility is located in Roja, Talsi District. SIA “Banga Ltd” performs the entire canning production cycle in-house. Exports cover five continents and more than 47 countries, including Europe, the USA, Japan and Australia. The company’s customer base consists of wholesale and distribution companies, as well as international retail chains. Products are made of high-quality raw materials supplied by fish suppliers from Latvia, Norway, Spain, Chile and Faroe Islands. Product quality is attested by IFS (International Featured Standards), MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) and ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) certificates. The company’s product range comprises more than 50 products sold under the BANGA brand and private trademarks.
